We are excited to welcome The Jimmy Leahey Trio "The Grey Man Group" to MVCC’s Raritan Inn stage. Extraordinary guitarist and singer Jimmy Leahey leads his Trio. Leahey has extensively toured and recorded with Dennis DeYoung from Styx, John Waite, Patty Smyth, Martha Davis, Gloria Gaynor, and Alison Krauss.

Backing Leahey’s elite talents are music-scene veterans Scott Ward (bass) and Don Plowman (drums). Fans repeatedly describe the group’s talent, prodigious songbook, and tightness as “awesome.” The Group has a huge sound that must be heard.

Attendees can expect a diverse, rockin’ set list in The Trio’s jam-packed show. They are like a live jukebox of all eras, delivering a great time while putting their twist on the songs. Leahey believes in “playing something that brings audiences back.”

Jimmy, Scott, and Don love how their music — regardless of what they are playing — affects and moves people. Throughout each unique show, expect genuine smiles, optimistic vibes, fun, and more fun.
